These are some of my most prized possessions. My beach cruiser and tank bike collection of rides continues to grow.

The first of these is my Bugatti blue 2017 3G Newport named Black and Blue. This bike was purchased with some money given to me after my Dad passed away and it’s dedicated to him. Just like all of my scooters, it has a Shimano Nexus 3 speed hub with a custom-cut 28-tooth rear sprocket that gives me a gear range from crawling to hauling.

The next bike is a loop tail, blister tank, Packard badged, 1941 Colson named Packard. It’s a pre-war, heavy patina beauty with tons of character. It’s smooth and easy to ride for being mildly restored and over 80 years old.

The third bike is a 1957 Colson Evans Air Scout named Scout. It was styled by Harley Earl of automobile design fame. It features Jet Age graphics and has thin tires and wheels which offer little rolling resistance and add to its streamlined look.

Finally, I have a 1952 J.C. Higgins Manifold Bike that’s a tribute to, and named after, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. It was rescued in terrible condition from a trash dumpster by a party on Facebook. I bartered with him to trade two 12 packs of Dr. Pepper with him to obtain it. I did a garage-style restoration of it by stripping and sandblasting all the parts to paint them with the new colors of Navy Blue and Tuscany Yellow. It features an exhaust pipe graphic on the tank that is intended to look similar to ones on older aircraft. I added 1 extra pipe to my version (the original only had 3) to let everyone know that mine has a HEMI.

These will be mine forever, and all of my bikes are truly cherished. I’ve also been working on a bike that will be a restomod style tribute to the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds. My projects with these are really fun, but it takes a long time for the build day to come. I’ll be sure to stop back by and share it when it’s done.
