Story

I purchased my GTI in May of 2023, and from that moment, I knew it wouldn’t stay stock for long. Modifying cars has always been more than a hobby for me—it’s a passion. Whether it’s fine-tuning the ride, adding personal style, or sharing the build at local meets and shows, the car scene has a way of pulling you in and never letting go.

Before the GTI, I owned a 1984 Chevy Caprice, a full-size cruiser with tons of character. I completely transformed that car—new paint, custom wheels, a modified engine, and bold exterior graphics made it stand out wherever it went. I also had a 1966 Buick Riviera, a classic with curves and presence that needed no introduction. Both cars taught me a lot about the art of customization and the reward of building something truly unique.

With the GTI, I’ve taken things to another level. The suspension has been lowered for a more aggressive stance, and I swapped the wheels to give it a sharper, cleaner look. The interior’s been updated with custom touches, and the exterior now features personalized graphics that reflect my style. I’m in the process of wrapping the car myself—starting with the hood—which has already given it a fresh new vibe. Every tweak and upgrade is part of the journey, and I’m far from finished.

I absolutely love driving this car. It’s more than a way to get from A to B—it’s an expression of who I am. That’s something a lot of us in the car community share. To us, our vehicles are not just transportation—they’re our canvas, our passion, and often, our pride and joy.
