Story

“Thumper” has been with me for over 45 years, and was the very first car I ever purchased. I was a senior in high school and purchased the Cuda for only $1,800. From day one, I knew this was something special. Over the years, this car has become more than just a vehicle— it’s truly a part of me.  About 10 years ago, I had the car painted and restored to bring back it’s former presence. Powered by a 440 Big Block, 6 barrel carb setup, TTI headers, a manual reverse valve body high-performance transmission, and a 4:30 rear end gives it that unmistakable muscle car attitude.

Thumper is my memory maker, adrenaline pumping time machine. Every time I get behind the wheel, I’m taken back to my teenage years—when the roads were open and the future felt endless. I still drive the Cuda as often as I can, and it means the world to share that experience with my daughter, who loves cruising the car just as much. This car is more than just something I drive—it’s a symbol of time well spent, dedication, and the joy of holding onto something you truly love.
